Costco Grocery List

As most of you already know, I am a HUGE Costco fan. It's super kid-friendly so I don't mind shopping there with both kiddos and can load up the cart and plan ahead a month at a time! I share lots of Costco finds and always get asked what my "go-to" favorite things are. So I have created a shopping list for anyone who is searching for my most favorite items when you go to Costco.

*Note that each item is usually around $10, so plan ahead and pick out what you NEED for each month so you can stay on budget!*

BUDGET TIP: When I am on a tight budget, I keep out my phone and add things up as I shop so I know if I need to put something back or pick and choose to stay within my budget.


I try to get my fresh produce, deli meat, and things that expire quickly from Walmart or Sprouts weekly so I don't waste any food in the fridge!


COSTCO GO-TO SHOPPING LIST:


EASY MEALS/SNACKS:

· Veggie Cakes (middle refrigerated section)

· Perfect Fit Meals (middle refrigerated section)

· Tortilla Crusted Tilapia (Frozen Section)

· Honey BBQ Boneless chicken Wings (higher fat/frozen section)

· Veggie Bowls (Vegan and Dairy Free/Easily add chicken to them for protein) I think these are in the refrigerated aisle.

· Guacamole Cups - middle refrigerated section (higher fat)

· Hummus Cups (higher fat)

· Salmon (higher fat)

· Orange Chicken (frozen section in a box. Add minute rice and edamame for a meal)


SNACKS:

· Peanut Butter Pretzel Cups (higher fat/carbs)

· Oikos Greek Yogurt or Dannon Greek Light and Fit 80 Calories

· Dairy Free: RX Bars/Lara Bars

· Kids Snacks: Goldfish, Veggie/Fruit Pouches, Fruit Snacks

· Rice Rolls

· Pretzel Thins (I eat these with my chicken and tuna salads for lunch)

· Gluten Free Milton Crackers *contain dairy

· Almonds (higher fat)


ESSENTIALS/STAPLES:

I try to rotate when I buy these to save money, but have things on hand.

· Sandwich Thins (bread aisle)

· Dave’s Killer Bread (bread aisle)

· Coffee (we buy the beans and grind them or K Cups)

· Mexican Shredded Cheese Blend (I put one in the freezer so I don’t run out as quickly)

· Canned Green Beans

· Canned Refried Beans or Black Beans

· Canned Chicken

· Canned Tuna

· Quinoa Rice Packets or Rice Packets (I’m NOT a fan of the brown rice bowls they sell there)

· Peanut Butter or PB2

· Egg Whites (package of 6 cartons in the milk refrigerator)

· Protein: Premiere Protein, Muscle Milk 100 Cal *contain dairy or Orgain Protein *vegan and sometimes the Collagen Peptides in the protein section as well to mix into my coffee.

· Paper Plates/Bowls/Cups (to cut down on dishes)

· Epsom Salt (by the pharmacy)


DRINKS:

· Vitamin Water Zero

· Gatorade Zero (they only have this occasionally)

· Orange Juice (to mix with my vanilla protein)

· Water Bottles

· Kirkland Flavored Waters

· Green Juice (I only get this occasionally)

· V8 (to help me get more veggies in)


FRESH FRUIT/VEGGIES:

· Avocado

· Bananas

· Blueberries

· Strawberries

· Red/Orange/Yellow Bell Peppers

· Romaine Lettuce OR Spinach

· Grapes


FROZEN:

· Acai Bowl Packets

· Edamame

· Riced Cauliflower (easy for lower carb rice and perfect for my Chicken “Fried” Rice Recipe)

· Frozen Fruit (I get the blends so I can just scoop a cup into my blender for a protein smoothie)

· Root Medley

· Frozen Chicken Tenderloins or Breast

· Ground Beef (comes in 5 – 1lb Rounds)

· Frozen Cod

· Frozen Tortilla Crusted Tilapia

· Frozen Broccoli Packets


TREATS ON OCCASION:

· Dark Chocolate Covered Mango (my favorite splurge)

· Heavenly Hunks Dark Chocolate Oatmeal (tastes like cookie dough!)
