To the woman that feels like she's failing...

Here's to the woman that overslept and snoozed her alarm and missed her morning workout...again.

Here's to the woman that left her kid's lunch at home and was running late for drop off.

Here's to the woman that forgot an important appointment.

Here's to the woman that yelled and lost her temper at her kids, or husband, or friend.

Here's to the woman who feels like she will never measure up. Here's to the woman who cannot lose the weight.

Here's to the woman surrounded by a mess, laundry, and is feeling exhausted.

Here's to the woman who has lost all motivation to work on herself.

Here's to the woman who feels like she is failing herself and her family over and over again as soon as her day starts.

Women.

We cannot believe the lies rolling around in our heads and give them room to take root in our heart.

You may have a to-do list a mile long and feel like there is not enough time in the day, but even that is a lie.

We were made by a Creator who is also the AUTHOR OF TIME!

Have you taken a second, a moment, or even the 10 minute drive in the car to ask Him for help. Have you taken the time to tell Him how you are feeling and let Him remind you of WHO He created you to be and how wonderful He made you!

Maybe you are taking on burdens that are not your own.

Maybe you are in a season of rest and need to quit being so hard on yourself.

Maybe you are on the verge of your biggest breakthrough and you need to KEEP GOING.

As I felt so scattered this morning and frantic with all the things rolling through my mind and feeling like I was forgetting things and failing at it all...I heard God laugh and say, "You've got this".

Take a deep breath.

Prioritize your day. Let go of the things that don't need to take priority RIGHT NOW.

Ask Him what He is doing and what is truly important.

Stop and SEE THE PEOPLE and not just the tasks.

We must remember that this life is a gift, our jobs are a gift, our homes that get cluttered and messy are a gift, the never-ending laundry is a gift, the chores are a gift, even the money we stress over is all a gift.

Our bodies and our health is a gift. Are we taking care of them or trying to punish ourselves into working out and eating healthy. It is ALL A GIFT!

When we change our perspective...we can change our lives.

So, if you needed to be reminded that you were made for this life, let me be that voice and remind you that YOU have purpose and it is too important to be distracted and overwhelmed by the messes and the imperfections. Quit comparing your life to someone else's and focus on what He has put in front of YOU!

Let's make the most of this day no matter what it holds.

Here's to a wonderful day no matter how yours started.
